Nel 2004 si specializza in Teoria e Linguaggio del Progetto Fotografico Contemporaneo presso il Centro Bauer di Milano.
Dopo essersi dedicato al teatro per diversi anni e aver frequentato la Facoltà di Lettere Moderne presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano, nel 1998 inizia le sue sperimentazioni visive sul tema dello sguardo e dell’identità utilizzando soprattutto il foro stenopeico. Dal 2004 approfondisce il tema dell’identità, prima fotografando oggetti, spazi e gesti di persone che vivono sole, e in anni recenti sviluppandolo attraverso lo studio dell’universo alternativo dei Cosplayer.
Nel 2008 riceve la menzione come “autore segnalato” con pubblicazione nel volume del Premio Fotografico 2008 indetto dall’ Associazione Italiana Fotografi Professionisti – TauVisual.
Dal 2004 al 2009 collabora alla didattica del corso di Fotografia di Miro Zagnoli presso l’Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia.
Ha pubblicato il suo lavoro sui seguenti periodici: “Interni”, “Sportweek”, “Domus”, “Abitare”, “Habitus”, “GQ”, “Zero”.

carmine mauro daprile (Bergamo, 1974) lives and works in Milan and Paris.
In 2004 he specialized in Theory and Language of Contemporary Photography at the Centro Bauer in Milan.
After devoting a number of years to theatre and doing coursework at the Department of the Arts at the University of Milan, in 1998 he turned to the visual investigation of views and identity, chiefly using pinholes. In 2004 he began to probe the theme of identity, initially photographing the objects, spaces and gestures of people who live
alone, and he recently developed this topic by studying the alternative world of cosplayers. He gained ecognition when he was cited as an “outstanding author” in the volume published for the 2008 Photography Prize awarded by the Associazione Italiana Fotografi Professionisti – TauVisual. From 2004 to 2009 he taught in Miro Zagnoli’s photography course at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice.
His works have been published in Interni, Sportweek, Domus, Abitare, Habitus, GQ and Zero.

En 2004, il s’est spécialisé en “Théorie et Langage du Projet Photographique Contemporain ” au C.F.P. Bauer de Milan.
Après s’être consacré au théâtre pendant plusieurs années, et avoir étudié au Département des Arts à l'Université de Milan, il s’intéresse en 1998 à l'enquête visuelle sur le regard et l'identité, en utilisant principalement le sténopé. En 2004, il commence à explorer le thème de l’identité, photographiant initialement les objets, les espaces et les gestes de personnes vivant seules. Il a récemment développé ce sujet en étudiant le monde alternatif des cosplayers. En 2008 il a reçu la mention comme "auteur révélation" et a été publié dans le volume du Prix de Photographie attribué par l’Associazione Italiana Fotografi Professionisti - TauVisual. De 2004 à 2009 il enseigne dans le cours de photographie de Miro Zagnoli à l'Institut Universitaire d'Architecture de Venise. Ses œuvres ont été publiées dans Interni, Sportweek, Domus, Abitare, Habitus, GQ et Zéro.
